ERROR MESSAGE??

You may experience 'alerts' when using refilled cartridges. These messages can be bypassed by pressing: 'OK', 'proceed', 'continue', 'accept', ect.

STOP the process if you receive a message such as:

'Unrecognized Cartridge', 'Cartridge Error', 'Incompatible Cartridge', or 'Replace Cartridge' and return the cartridge to Mainland Cartridge Works for evaluation.

LOW INK MESSAGE SHOWING ON THE PRINTER?

All of our cartridges are fully filled with ink. However, at times the printer may show a low ink message even though it's full. Either by-pass the low ink message or disable the ink level system on your printer. Although your printer will not track the ink levels, our cartridges will print fine from start to finish.

On certain printers, if the printer is saying you cannot print due to low ink, please press and hold the 'stop' or 'cancel' button for 10 seconds. This will reset the counter and allow you to use the cartridges normally.

THE PRINT QUALITY IS NOT VERY GOOD

  • Ensure that the tape covering the print-head is removed.
  • Run the print-head/head cleaning cycle 2-3 times
  • Please select the 'print-head clean' option under 'maintenance' on the printer and run it. If there is any air bubble or dry ink on the print-head, this will force it out, and allow it to print normally.
  • If your printout still have white lines on streaks please run the 'alignment test' again on your printer.

ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • Refill a cartridge shortly after you notice print quality starting to degrade. Keep a spare set of cartridges for convenience.
  • Protect your cartridges when transporting them for refilling. Avoid touching or rubbing
